I love, love, love the crunch of these cookies! The only unfortunate part for me is I forgot to buy a lemon and I had in the fridge this powdered california lemon peel from Penzeys. Didn't like it. It taste like I put the pith of a lemon in the cookies versus the rind. So, there's a little bitterness at the end. Bummer. But this is definitely a keeper... aren't they all? Thanks to Valerie from Une gamine dans lan cuisine for this excellent selection.
